Degroof Petercam is one of the largest Private Investment Bank in Belgium. It is the result of the merger between Degroof (Private bank) and Petercam (Asset Manager) in 2015. Present in 9 countries, it has around 1.500 employees with headquarters in Brussels.

Cream started to work together with Degroof Petercam in the context of this merger. One of the main objectives was to accompany the bank in the data migration to a single common IT platform.

Besides our support in term of program management and project management coaching for the transformation, Cream participated in the optimization of data management inside the Business Intelligence team, from team management to technical management of the full data lifecycle (ETL, Datawarehousing, Reporting…). We are proud to have participated in the maturity improvement of the team on the longer term.

Degroof Petercam could ultimately improve data processing in collaboration with Finance, Performance and Compliance departments and bring greater transparency to its clients. This was a key asset to be capable of complying with later regulations such as MiFID, EMIR, SFTR…
